With steeper and steeper Blocks becoming more common in the new Canberra suburbs. Finding the right floor level is a mandatory requirement for most. Especially if your a steep corner block on Tylor with 2 frontages and neighbouring setbacks to consider.


Black Line sat down with the client to understand what they were after, what views we could take advantage of, the needs of their day to day life and family. While working within the regulations of ACT we came up with a very delicately placed single storey house to the street that was just close enough to the ground to not need any additional setback requirements but high enough that you don't loose the views from a main living Terrace.


A lower level was then added to fit in a rumpus, all the main bedrooms and alfresco giving the multiple options for living and family visits.


Currently under construction so keep an eye out for the finished product.
